Govt thinks of JVs with friendly states to replace technologies

MOSCOW, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Digital Development Ministry considers an option to create joint production facilities with the friendly states to replace the solutions of the producers that left the country, Minister Maksut Shadayev told reporters on Thursday.

“Certainly, we look at all production facilities that will help us to replace quickly the makers that quit,” Shadayev said.

The minister added that manufacturing of base stations is most difficult in the organization of production.

“We can make all the rest, not in the same volumes or with the same quality, but we do not have super dependence there. And with base stations, I think we will reach mass production in the next two years,” Shadayev said.
